Staying Focused

Dear God, 

Help me to focus on what You have called me to do and be. There are so many distractions in this life, that can pull me away from staying focused on my purpose. Sometimes the desire to help others has become a weight. Lord, give me the strength to overcome wanting to be everything for everyone.

God, often times the volume of other’s opinions can be louder than Your voice. God, help me to love myself no matter what anyone has to say about me. 

God, despite all the distractions that come my way, help me to focus on Your will and Your way. “For there is no one holy like the Lord. There is no one besides You! And there is no rock like our God” (1 Samuel 2:2).
