You Are Working
God,
It is so easy for me to trust You when life feels great, but when trials come I begin to question my faith. God, in this season I am holding on to the truth that even in suffering Your love is unconditional. Trials and suffering will be chapters in our story, chapters that You will continue to show up and be there for. You are working through it all.
As it says in Your word, “Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness (James 1:2-3)”.
I realize in times of great pain the devil wants to take advantage of our vulnerableness and weakness. But despite it all, I will continue to cry out “Even when I don’t see it You’re working! You never stop working!” (Song: Waymaker by Sinach)
