A Season of Uncertainty

Dear God, 

In a time of so much uncertainty, I pray for wisdom and faith. Wisdom to know how to navigate day by day to be a support and voice to those around me. Lord, I ask for faith like your sons Ezra, Nehemiah, and Job. A faith that cannot be shaken, a faith that keeps on believing despite all the chaos going on around me, and a faith that perseveres despite obstacles being thrown my way. 

Lord, give us the strength to release our plans for Yours. In these times of uncertainty, I am reminded that although I don’t know what’s next, I have the opportunity to lean into You, and operate in Your strength. Your word reminds me that perfect peace comes from Trusting in You (Isaiah 26:3). 

I am reminded that in this time, You are still in control, that this did not catch you by surprise. You are my Father, who can sleep in the middle of a storm because You know that even the most turbulent winds and waves of this life are at Your control (Mark 4:35-41). May Your people rest in the One who is still in control. 

 Help me Father to fix my eyes on You in the middle of the chaos. 

Lord, You are Abba, You are our Father, You are the Great I Am.
