Walk In Wisdom

Dear God, 

You call us to walk in wisdom and be faithful. But what does that mean? At times I hear that and interpret it as You calling me to perfection. But is that what it really means? I am learning that it is You calling me to surrender to You. 

You call us to walk in wisdom, which means looking to You for guidance, trusting You with our lives, and following the direction You are leading us in. 

God, You tell us that walking in wisdom and having faith doesn’t mean having all the right answers or even understanding everything happening in our story. Because what we don’t know, You know. Blessed is the one who finds wisdom (Proverbs 3:13). 

God, show us how to Walk In Wisdom with You.

Reflection: 

Walking in wisdom reminds me of a baby learning to take their first step. When they fall down there is someone there to pick them up every step of the way. Every step won’t be perfect, but every step will be met with a loving Father who is there to catch you when you fall. Walking in wisdom becomes a lot easier when you are holding the Father’s hand.
