The Power of Fear

God,

This hasn’t been an easy season. It has had many ups and downs. I know we are called to trust You, but there are times when the stress of the unknown overwhelms and causes fear.

I constantly feel like I am battling little voices in my head. Those voices that invoke fear and make me question my abilities. 

God, I ask that you calm my mind and give me the courage to overcome my fears. 

As it says in Your word, “You do not give us the spirit of fear; but of power, love and sound mind” (2 Timothy 1:7). Father, You are more powerful than any fear that I will ever face.

I surrender this to you, have your way. 

 Amen.
